The Risks…
Just like in life, there are always risks in repairing electronics. There is never any guarantee that a device will be fixable. Things get old, components fail, and moisture can take its toll. Delicate glass screens can crack and break. While we are highly experienced and will always do our absolute best to handle any device with extreme care and attempt a repair, risks do exist.
The Costs…
We charge a minimum service fee for most devices to cover time spent inspecting and diagnosing your device. If a repair is made, this service fee will be applied as a credit to the total amount owed for the services rendered. We will do our best to provide a fair and accurate estimate of the costs up front, but these can change once the device is inspected. If we do discover issues that would change our estimate, we will contact you for approval before proceeding with the repair.
The Warranty…
We’re confident in the work we do and provide a 60 day warranty that covers any parts and repairs performed. If, for some reason an issue arises from any work we did, we will service the device again at no charge to you. If the device was mailed in for service, the customer is responsible for the costs of shipping the device back to us for warranty work. This warranty does not cover other issues that may arise outside of any original work performed. We also will not cover issues arising from any user errors or negligence, including but not limited to: dropping or bending the device, exposure to moisture or temperature extremes, and the use of bad electrical connections and chargers. Additionally, we do not warranty any parts provided by the customer nor any non-hardware issues (i.e. software). If any hardware installations and/or modifications are made by anyone else on the covered device within the 60 day period, the warranty is voided.
Your Data…
While we always take the utmost care with all devices and respect your privacy, we cannot guarantee the security and safety of any data on devices serviced. We suggest any and all data be backed up before being sent to us for service. We assume no liability for any data lost as a result of services performed.
Device Return…
We will hold onto your device for 60 days after we contact you to pick up your device. If no arrangements have been made for shipping or pickup after 60 days, the device will be considered abandoned and become the property of the business to use or dispose of as we see fit.
